Your haystacks sound wonderful! My husband would love these. pinning -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures
Kristie Schubert says
Thanks Marci,
They’re super-easy to make!
Debbee says
Kristie, these look super yummy! I love the no-bake aspect too.
Kristie Schubert says
Me too Debbee! Do you do the Pinterest Challenges?
Jenny says
I would love these! My mom makes something similar at Easter, but the peanuts with the chow mien noodles sounds amazing! Pinning!
Kristie Schubert says
Thanks! I’ve made them with butterscotch and white choclate before, but these are better!
Debra says
These look so good. And so easy to make.
Kristie Schubert says
Thanks! The melting squares were a lot easier to deal with than regular chocolate.
Mother of 3 says
Those do sound yummy and remind me of a treat my great aunt used to make using butterscotch chips I think… (I know they had a buttery -scotchy taste anyway). I just no- bake desserts! Pinned.
Kristie Schubert says
Yes, I’ve had them with butterscotch. They’re good too, but not as good as the ones with chocolate.
Lauren | Mom Home Guide says
I love that this recipe isn’t super difficult. Looks yummy!
Kristie Schubert says
Thanks, Lauren. I love no-bake recipes too.
Roseann Hampton says
Love how easy these are – I’m thinking they might make an easy Easter treat! Pinning!
Kristie Schubert says
Send me a picture if you make Easter ones!
Julie says
These look simple and delicious, perfect for a party.
Kristie Schubert says
Thanks, Julie!
Lydia from Lydia's Flexitarian Kitchen says
Wow, do these bring back memories! They were a popular holiday treat when I was a teen. Glad to see them making a comeback!
Kristie Schubert says
Isn’t it funny, how there’s nothing new under the sun? Everything that’s old-fashioned gets freshened-up and revived eventually!
Kristie Cook says
Haystacks are delicious! I love the salty sweet combo. The addition of the festive sprinkles is something I haven’t seen before, so I will have to try that. By the way, we have the same first name! Even the spelling is the same, which hardly ever happens! : )
Kristie Schubert says
I love your blog. You have lots of good ideas. You’re right. I don’t meet that many Kristies. I’ll definitely be able to remember your name.
Habiba says
I am from Germany and I’ve never heard of these haystacks. But they sure look delicious! Thank you for sharing the recipe.
Kristie Schubert says
You’re welcome. If you decide to make them, post a picture in the comments, and I’ll add it to my post.
Alexandra says
These look interesting. I have seen them around quite a bit, but never tried.
Kristie Schubert says
They’re very good, and can be changed to match any theme or holiday.
Erlene says
Ooo…I love sweet and salty treats. This is right up my alley.
Kristie Schubert says
Thanks, Erlene.
Kelli says
Anything no bake is a win, right? I’m going to have to try this next year to take to our Thanksgiving gathering as I usually have no time to do anything. You make it sound super simple. Pinning.
Kristie Schubert says
Thanks, I hope they turn out well, Kelli.
