No Bake Peanut Butter Pie
I’ve been collecting Jeannette Country Harvest Recipe Pie Plates by Royal China for quite some time now. Until last week, I had cherry, pumpkin, pecan, strawberry, and quiche lorraine. THEN it happened- I was in Goodwill on a friday night, right after my husband and I had eaten at Jim and Nick’s BBQ-I saw the elusive Country Harvest Peanut Butter Pie Plate! It was in mint condition. Of course I wanted to save the pie for the big night-Super Bowl LIII.
Ingredients:
Directions:
Soften the butter, and combine with the 12 ounce bag of chocolate chips; mix well.
Add the 4 1/2 cups of rice crispies cereal, and stir.
Press into the bottom and sides of the pie plate. Press it down firmly, so that your crust ingredients are tightly packed.
Chill. I put mine in the freezer.
Mix the sweetened condensed milk, cream cheese, and peanut butter.
Add lemon juice and vanilla.
Fold in the whipped cream and stir. Spread this mixture over the crust, and swirl with the chocolate syrup.
Chill the pie for 5 hours, then cut and serve!
Have A Great Week!

I just love peanut butter pie and have a few recipes for no-bake ones but I have never thought of using rice krispies for the crust; I bet it gives a nice added crunch. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Encouraging Hearts and Home. Pinned.

Thanks Joanne. It did turn out better than I expected. Sometimes it’s hard to tell how good something will be, when you’re just glancing over a recipe.
