I found the cutest watering can wall hanging at a thrift store last month. It was painted in a beautifully distressed winter white color. I was excited about it because I paint galvanized watering cans and sell them on Etsy. It was simple and fun to make a DIY Christmas Floral Wall Hanging with all of my leftover Christmas and winter floral picks. Writing the same old tutorial-type blog posts can get boring, so I’ve been spicing them up a bit lately with stories and history. In this blog post I included pictures of places where I used each floral pick originally. It was fun to go down memory lane at the end of this crazy, 2020 year.
Materials for DIY Christmas Floral Wall Hanging
- watering can wall hanging- Any type of wall hanging, wall bucket, or wall pocket would work.
- variety of Christmas or winter floral picks
- wired ribbon- I didn’t like the felt ribbon pictured, so I changed it to a snowflake wired ribbon midway through my project.
- I did not use the pink ornaments pictured above.
- fabric scissors
- regular scissors
- floral wire
- wire cutters
- lighter

This is so lovely. I like that it is on the wall and so does not take up any space in the room. We will feature this on the next Blogger’s Pit Stop.
