Are you ready for fall? July and August are sweltering here in the South Carolina Lowcountry, so of course I’m ready for cooler temperatures. Also, my spring and summer were very stressful because we sold our house. Now we are living in an apartment while we’re building a new one. Apartment living will not stop me from painting, decorating, and celebrating for the upcoming fall and winter holidays-especially since I threw LOTS OF STUFF away during the packing and cleaning process. If you’re feeling adventerous, learn How to Paint a Squirrel Sign on a wooden pallet with me today.

My Painting Process

I hope you enjoyed my How to Paint a Fall Squirrel Sign tutorial. Animals are a joy to paint. This little guy’s wispy fur and bushy tail made him a delight to create. The golden walnuts added a fun touch of glam as well.
Happy Fall Y’all,
Kristie

THIS IS ADORABLE! I love how you shaded everything especially the clouds. It has inspired me to paint on the bottom of my fence line with cute little creatures. 🙂 Thanks so much for posting at Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop.
Thank you, Cindy! Animals and their fur are fun to paint.

Thanks, Suzanne! It does take a bit of practice, but I do believe that anyone can paint.
