Hello everyone! Welcome to the Little Cottage Link Party #14. Well, we’ve made it to mid-August. Those super-hot temperatures should be cooling down in a month or so, here in the SC Lowcountry. How was everyone’s week? Our two youngest daughters were baptized, and our middle daughter’s boyfriend went down the aisle at church to profess his faith. I cried a few tears of happiness.

The Little Cottage Link Party is open from Monday, 9am EST, through Wednesday, 9am EST. My goal for this link party is to help myself and others thrive in the home. I’ve spent the last two decades raising five homeschooled children in a beautiful little cottage in the South Carolina Lowcountry. In my opinion, the home is the most important place on earth. It doesn’t matter if you’re married, single, empty-nesting, or raising a large family-your home can still be a refreshing oasis of love and beauty to those who enter.
On with this week’s features! Let’s begin with our 3 most clicked features. The first one was about the Sunshine Blogger Award- an award bestowed on bloggers, by other bloggers.

The second most-clicked feature (these are never done in any particular order, by the way) was a tutorial for a headboard made from kitchen cabinets.

The third most clicked feature was an adorable, small stenciled table, from Joy over at Vintage Green. The stencil Reminds me of the Botanic Garden plates from Portmeirion. I’m always thinking about dishes, and dish patterns!

My personal pick was Red Sea Rules, a Bible study for people going through rough times. I bought the book on my Kindle app, and already read the whole thing. If you aren’t encountering a storm right now, you probably will be soon.

The Rules:
- Please link up all posts related to the home. Recipes, DIY, Homeschooling, Upcycle Projects, Family Trips, and Decor posts are welcome. Lifestyle posts are okay too as long as they are related to the home.
- Please do not link up business advertisements, or ETSY stores.
- All posts should be family friendly.
- Posts that do not adhere to the rules will be deleted.
- Link up to three posts per week.
- By linking up here, you are giving me permission to promote your post on social media, and on this blog.
Features:
Four features will be chosen each week. One of the features will be the most viewed posts of the party, and the other three will be my featured picks. Don’t forget to add the Little Cottage Link Party to your party page. You can pick up a button below. If you’re featured, pick up the featured button and add it to your post or blog. I will also be adding featured posts to my Little Cottage Link Party Board on Pinterest.

Kristie,
That is so wonderful about your daughters. I have not experienced that with my two children yet but I pray for it daily. And that is awesome about the boyfriend too.
God is still working even though people would have you believe differently and the state of our country. Praise God!
Have a great week! We are still on baby watch out here in Colorado!

Kristie, thank you so much for featuring us this week and hosting the linkup! 🙂 The Red Sea Rules is an amazing little book. The summer book club-style Bible study we hosted over at InstaEncouragements.com with it this summer was such an encouragement to me personally—I needed it! Thank you for participating!
You’re welcome, Patsy!
