Welcome to Little Cottage Link Party #18! We survived the hurricane evacuation, and I’m looking forward to a normal week of homeschooling, and running the girls to dance and piano lessons. Luckily my husband deals with softball practice. I hope everyone is safe and sound! If you get a chance, check out my most recent blog post; Create An Apple Forest Fall Tablescape.

The Little Cottage Link Party is open from Monday, 9am EST, through Wednesday, 9am EST. My goal for this link party is to help myself and others thrive in the home. I’ve spent the last two decades raising five homeschooled children in a beautiful little cottage in the South Carolina Lowcountry. In my opinion, the home is the most important place on earth. It doesn’t matter if you’re married, single, empty-nesting, or raising a large family-your home can still be a refreshing oasis of love and beauty to those who enter.
Features From Last week:
The first feature is part of a blog hop where each blogger creates her own version of a picture chosen by the hostess. I love how Paula applied her own personal style in this challenge.

My teacher’s soul was delighted by the Back to School Mantel created by Amy. The bells, wooden clothes pins, and literature-rich environment were just perfect.

Penny showed us 20 different fall vignettes that she’s arranged over the years. I’m including my favorite one in the picture below, but they are all gorgeous.

Linda made some beautiful trees with a “ghosting” paper craft technique. Although I can’t seem to narrow my blog down to just one thing, I admire those that do (I’m just an eclectic girl, darn it all). The title of her blog perfectly describes Linda’s focus; and I like that.

Bonus Feature:
I don’t usually choose 5 features, but I had to include this fascinating resin technique by Olivia. If you get a chance, drop in and see how she accomplished this look.

The Rules:
- Please link up all posts related to the home. Recipes, DIY, Homeschooling, Upcycle Projects, Family Trips, and Decor posts are welcome. Lifestyle posts are okay too as long as they are related to the home.
- Please do not link up business advertisements, or ETSY stores.
- All posts should be family friendly.
- Posts that do not adhere to the rules will be deleted.
- Link up to three posts per week.
- By linking up here, you are giving me permission to promote your post on social media, and on this blog.
Features:
Four features will be chosen each week. One of the features will be the most viewed posts of the party, and the other three will be my featured picks. Don’t forget to add the Little Cottage Link Party to your party page. You can pick up a button below. If you’re featured, pick up the featured button and add it to your post or blog. I will also be adding featured posts to my Little Cottage Link Party Board on Pinterest.

Wow! Thank you so much for featuring my Ghostly Trees card and the lovely comment! I actually admire people like you, who are self-proclaimed “eclectic”. I have such a narrow focus in my life, that of papercrafting. Woo hoo to YOU! Smiles, Linda at Paper Seedlings
