Welcome to Little Cottage Link Party #31! How is everyone? I had a great ( but very busy) week. We decorated Dickens ‘A Christmas Carol’ Themed Christmas Tree for our local hospice organization, then I adorned A Very Merry Coastal Christmas Tree for the 12 Days of Christmas Ideas Blog Hop. This week, I plan to spend my time reading and commenting on all the fabulous holiday posts I didn’t get to read last week! Blogging at Christmastime is fun, but sometimes it’s a real struggle to balance the posts you’re committed to write with all the other activities that occur during the holidays.
The Little Cottage Link Party is open from Monday, 9am EST, through Wednesday, 9am EST. My goal for this link party is to help myself and others thrive in the home. I’ve spent the last two decades raising five homeschooled children in a beautiful little cottage in the South Carolina Lowcountry. In my opinion, the home is the most important place on earth. It doesn’t matter if you’re married, single, empty-nesting, or raising a large family-your home can still be a refreshing oasis of love and beauty to those who enter.
Time for the Features!
The first feature is on my dessert list for this month! I’m a sucker for red velvet cakes, cookies, and etc. I even bought red velvet coffee creamer this year.

My next feature is a creative take on the snow village. I don’t know who thought of the original “Snow Village” for Christmas decor, but the idea was genius!

The third feature caught my eye with a collection of Santa Mugs. What a great thing to collect! I will be on the lookout for my own Santa Mugs the next time I hit the thrift stores. That’s what blogging is all about- inspiring one another!

The last feature is cute, useful, and easy to make. What a great combination of qualities!

The Rules:
- Please link up all posts related to the home. Recipes, DIY, Homeschooling, Upcycle Projects, Family Trips, and Decor posts are welcome. Lifestyle posts are okay too as long as they are related to the home.

Features:
Four features will be chosen each week. Don’t forget to add the Little Cottage Link Party to your party page. You can pick up a button below. If you’re featured, pick up the featured button and add it to your post or blog. I will also be adding featured posts to my Little Cottage Link Party Board on Pinterest.

I agree; sometimes blogging in December feels like WORK. I love it; I love all the ideas I get to see and learn from other bloggers but it is so much harder for me to squeeze out the time to read, comment, write, and all that other stuff that goes along with blogging. Thanks so much for hosting today!
It is exciting to blog in December!
Thank you so much for featuring my Coffee Bag, Krista! Wonderful features!
The coffee bags are pretty and useful! Coffee does absorb odors. 😀

Thank you for featuring my trifle! Thank you for hosting! This is what I featured the week of 12-2 to 12-6 on my blog. On Tuesday morning were Peppermint and Chocolate Mousse Bars. Wednesday was my Grasshopper Thin Mint Cheesecake. And wrapping up the second week of Christmas baking is a decadent Cherpumple Cake. Enjoy!
Thanks for joining the party, Marilyn!
