Welcome to Little Cottage Link Party #58! I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! Our holiday was quieter than usual, but still nice.
I had a chance to work on several blog posts last week. I made a Beachy Americana Flag with paint, 3 brick pavers, and a starfish.
I took pictures of all my summer projects and home decor for Summer Showcase at the Little Cottage. It was nice to look back on everything I’ve done this summer as I begin planning for the fall.
The Little Cottage Link Party is open from Monday, 9am EST, through Thursday, 9am EST (I’m leaving the party open a day longer this year). My goal for this link party is to help myself and others thrive in the home. I’ve spent the last two decades raising five homeschooled children in a beautiful little cottage in the South Carolina Lowcountry. In my opinion, the home is the most important place on earth. It doesn’t matter if you’re married, single, empty-nesting, or raising a large family-your home can still be a refreshing oasis of love and beauty to those who enter.
Time for the Features!
Michelle found a great way to organize her bead collection by upcycling some bath bomb containers with Mod Podge. The cacti and llamas are so much fun!
If you’ve ever wondered how to make a fabric yo yo, Tiffany has a great tutorial for a patriotic version.
Chloe’s camping tablescape is perfect for summer. The plaid canteens, pine cone plates and canoe centerpiece are gorgeously outdoorsy.
Julie has the cutest free strawberry cross stitch pattern and an interesting story to go along with it.
Anita transformed pipes into a lamp for her steampunk room-very creative!
I appreciate the thought Kara has given to adding or taking away plants in her eclectic perennial garden bed.
