Hello everyone! Welcome to the 6th Little Cottage Link Party! I hope everyone had a great week. My beautiful Stella, the caboose of the family, turned 11 on Father’s Day. We had a double celebration; one for her, and one of all the awesome dads in the family! I hope everyone had a great Father’s Day weekend.

Jennifer Wise, from Life Tales Books has graciously allowed me to take over her beloved Heart & Soul Link Up. The party will be open from 9:00 am (EST) on Mondays until 9:00 am (EST) on Wednesdays.
My goal for this link party is to help myself and others thrive in the home. I’ve spent the last two decades raising five homeschooled children in a beautiful little cottage in the South Carolina Lowcountry. In my opinion, the home is the most important place on earth. It doesn’t matter if you’re married, single, empty-nesting, or raising a large family-your home can still be a refreshing oasis of love and beauty to those who enter.
Now for the features from Little Cottage Link Party #5! They were an interesting mix. Cleaning/refreshing, traveling, and visiting an antique market were just right for summer break!

My personal pick for this week is (you have to see all the pictures for this dessert):

Congratulations to all the featured bloggers!
*To all you link party lovers out there: It is helpful to have a search box at the top of your blog so that readers and party hosts like me can easily find and copy the link to feature your post. It is a must if you use Instagram, because the link in your profile will take the reader to your most recent blog post only. Then, if you don’t have a search box, the reader will have to scroll down to find the post they’re hoping to read. Also, a Pinterest plug-in that allows others to pin your posts is a great idea too. My site doesn’t allow me to add plug-ins, so I sent my hosts a message, and they added the Pinterest plug-in for me. The plug-in places a tiny Pinterest logo in the corner of all your blog pictures. If someone clicks on your photo, it takes them to Pinterest, where they can save your picture (which is automatically connected to your blog) to the desired board. It’s a great way to generate more traffic to the posts you work hard to write.
The Rules:
- Please link up all posts related to the home. Recipes, DIY, Homeschooling, Upcycle Projects, Family Trips, and Decor posts are welcome. Lifestyle posts are okay too as long as they are related to the home.
- Please do not link up business advertisements, or ETSY stores.
- All posts should be family friendly.
- Posts that do not adhere to the rules will be deleted.
- Link up to three posts per week.
- By linking up here, you are giving me permission to promote your post on social media, and on this blog.
Features:
Four features will be chosen each week. Three of the features will be the most viewed posts of the party, and the 4th one will be my featured pick. Don’t forget to add the Little Cottage Link Party to your party page. You can pick up a button below. If you’re featured, pick up the featured button and add it to your post or blog. I will also be adding featured posts to my Little Cottage Link Party Board on Pinterest.

On with the first party! Link away. If you want to pin a particular post, pin it from its original source-not from this site.
Blessings,
