Red White and Sunflowers Patriotic Tablescape

Red, White, and Blue are definitely a staple for 4th of July decor. But have you seen sunflowers combined with the patriotic trio? Styling a Red, White, and Sunflowers Patriotic Tablescape is a great way to brighten up the tried-and-true Red, White, and Blue!

Do you get tired of using the same holiday colors year after year? I love Americana, Americana Primitive, and patriotic decor. But I welcomed the sight of Old Glory’s colors paired with bright, happy sunflowers. When my sister told me that Dollar Tree had sunflower plates and glasses, I rushed over to buy my own. They were sold out of the tumblers, but I was able to buy 6 dinner plates.

The 7 1/4” Fostoria Virginia Brown goblets (1978-1986) echo the colors in the sunflower basket. These vintage goblets are wonerfully heavy and available in a variety of colors.

The candle holders are Harvest milk glass by Colony. I used Yankee Candle Pine Cone Wreath tealights that were left over from Christmas. Remember to save those red Christmas accents. You can use them for Valentine’s day decor and again on the 4th of July.

The sunflower basket in the middle is surrounded by a patriotic garland with a battery-operated red, white, and blue light string.

I put Dollar Tree flags in my sunflower plant and placed a flag-themed piece of outdoor flag material under the basket. Each place setting has either a blue buffalo check or red gingham napkin. The french country blue tablecloth is topped with a patriotic ribbon in the center. I used Golden Juilliard Oneida silverware with my patriotic tablescape.
