I’ve been playing around with different coastal ideas this year. Who says “coastal” always has to be blue and white? So, I decided to mix Christmas tree plates, tumblers, and Christmas mugs with plaid, then combine them with natural items from the beautiful South Carolina Lowcountry. I also added some glam to create a Rustic Glam Coastal Christmas Tablescape. I had so much fun decorating our Christmas table this year because I did it on Christmas Eve. When you’re blogging, you often have to do things in advance, to give yourself time to edit and tweak. It was really nice to just “be in the moment” tonight!

Let’s start with the dishes- my favorite part! The salad plates and tumblers are Holly Tree by Cristal D’Arques. The mugs are Arcoroc Snowman and Winter Wonderland.

The dinner plates are Marcrest “Daisy Dot.“ I love them because the pattern reminds me of the wavy icing on gingerbread. The bean pot is from the same pattern.

The magnolia leaves, holly branches, Spanish moss, and pine cones were all found near my house.

The Indiana Glass Holly ice bucket is filled with local sea shells. I also have the matching candy jar. You can see it in the bottom left of the 2nd picture below.

The salt and pepper Nutcrackers shakers were made by Sakura and designed by Debbie Mumm. They’ve taken a break from the harsh winter weather to vacation here in the Lowcountry.

The glam ceramic Christmas tree was the one new Christmas decoration I bought this year. My grandmother had a ceramic one that she painted in the 1970s, and I always loved it as a child. I added another touch of bling with a gold Christmas garland.

I hope you enjoyed my Rustic Glam Coastal Christmas Tablescape!

Merry Christmas!

So pretty! I love the little tree. I had a painted ceramic one years ago. Merry Christmas!!
I wish I had one of the original painted trees! I ordered mine from Amazon.

That is lovely. My grandmother had a tree just like that too; but it was green. I really like it in silver.
I sure wish I had a vintage one!
Lovely! I like the contrast between the shiny glam and the earthy, rustic appearance of the pine cones.
Thanks, Shannon!
